In its first 100 years Movado earned nearly 100 patents, a testament to its technological excellence and consistent progressive thinking. In 1947, the first museum watch was created by American designer Nathan George Horwitt. In 2001, Movado mined its own history to create another breakthrough design, the Elliptica.
