Muller himself was born in La Chaux-de-Fronds, the legendary Swiss watch making town, in 1958. He has been at the forefront of the Swiss revival; having amassed a broad collection of pieces and movements in the wake of the electronic and quartz explosion of the late 70's and 80's.
